In 1971, Robert and Margaret Blackman went out on a limb and started their U-Pick fruit business inviting customers to the farm to hand pick their own apples. For over 55 years, families have been coming to spend a day at the farm and take in the landscape of the Niagara Escarpment.
The fruit-harvesting season runs from mid-September through mid-October. In addition to offering more than fifteen varieties of apples to pick, we have fresh pressed cider, pumpkins, squash, specialty preserves and other locally produced agricultural products.
